IT

For systems access and issues, IT support is available from 8am-9:30pm on weekdays, and 9am-5pm on weekends:

AVS

Audiovisual services support is available between 7:30am and 8:30pm on weekdays and 8am-5pm on weekends. For immediate AVS support in the classroom:

  • go to avs.uts.edu.au for details on the AVS devices in the teaching space you’ll be using
  • log a ticket on ServiceConnect or
  • call #1978.

Spaces

If you need information about a specific teaching space, please contact your faculty planner. You can also check classroom availability on StaffConnect.

Security

Security are here to help you 24/7, 365 days a year.

  • for security emergencies dial #6 from internal phones and 1800 249 559 from external phones
  • if your teaching space is locked, call #1192 or #1193, and security will unlock the door for you and your students.

UTS Library

Open from 8am-10pm Mondays to Thursdays, 8am-9pm Fridays, and 10am-6pm on weekends over the Autumn session. Over the Easter long weekend, the Library will be open on Saturday and Monday from 10am-6pm, and closed on Friday and Sunday. You can talk to a librarian via live chat on lib.uts.edu.au.

Cleaning and air conditioning

UTS Central and Building services are available to help with issues related to cleaning and air conditioning.

  • for air quality related issues, contact UTS Building Services on 9514 7477.

Student support

Both HELPS and the UTS counselling service will be available throughout the session.

  • HELPS drop-in sessions for students run on weekdays, with public holidays excepted. You can find the schedule for drop-in sessions on the HELPS website. Contact HELPS on #9733.
  • the UTS Counselling Service is available throughout Summer session. Call #1177 to access.
