Submitted a textbook order to the Co-op? Good news, we’ll be hosting a Co-op pop-up for the first two weeks of session.

To help students this Autumn session, UTS has invited Co-op to host a pop-up shop for the first two weeks of Autumn session (11 – 22 March) on campus. The pop-up will stock a limited range of textbooks for UTS students, specifically those textbooks pre-ordered by UTS academics.

Where will it be located?

On 235 Jones St on the ground floor of Building 10 (for those of you who know the space, it’s the shopfront located between Building 11 and Building 10). The pop-up will open from 9am – 5pm.

Will it stock a full range of textbooks?

Being a pop-up and not a permanent store it will only stock those textbook ordered by academics before the start of session. But it will give students a place to browse prescribed textbooks and purchase should they wish.

If students order their book online, can they pick them up at this pop-up?

Unfortunately no. It will only stock textbooks that have been pre-ordered by academics 4 weeks before the start of session.

Can students return books at the pop-up?

Yes.

I forgot to submit my reading list…

forgot

If you haven’t already submitted your reading lists please contact sydneyuni@coop.com.au asap. Fyi, the recommended turnover for ordering textbooks through the Co-op is 4 weeks, so they may not be ready for students when the pop-up opens on the 11 March. You can email the co-op to inquire about turnaround times for your subject.

Can my students order textbooks online?

They sure can. Should students wish to order online with the Co-op, they can do so at www.coop.com.au/textbook/search/uts-sydney.

Don’t forget the UTS Library

Don’t forget that the UTS Library has copies of most textbooks and course readings for loan/access. So if students would like to browse books in person or borrow for a limited amount of time, encourage them to visit the UTS Library, chat to a Librarian online, or email the Library.
