We’re just about halfway through the Spring session now, and the impending marking season will begin to emerge from the fog that is, STU-VAC week. But before this we’ve got a range of events and workshops guaranteed to spark creativity with your learning and teaching practices.
1. Canvas Training

If the thought of building your Canvas site seems a little daunting, well, don’t worry. The LX.lab team have put together four training sessions to help you prepare for your upcoming MakerSpace.
2. Writing a convincing case for your teaching

Would you like to apply for a UTS or national teaching award? Do you feel you are ready for promotion and wondering how to build your case?
3. Course Directors Network
Wed 16 October
The Course Directors Network provides a cross-faculty space for Course Directors to learn from and with each other.
4. First and Further Year Experience (FFYE) Forum
Fri 23 October
Join us for the end of year first and further year (FFYE) forum on 25th October from 9:30am. We have lots planned – explore the visual stories of the students’ own experiences, build on our strengths within the FFYE learning community, and celebrate FYE grant achievements.

5. How to build online and face to face learning communities
