With Autumn session just around the corner, we are extending our support hours so we can help all teaching staff who are starting with Canvas ensure that their subject site is good to go. Even if you’re not using Canvas yet, we’ll be assisting with a wide range of other learning technologies – so make sure to swing by!

What is Canvas Lab?

Canvas Lab is a four-week-long intensive support period to help make sure you can have your Canvas (or UTSOnline) site ready to go for Autumn! Throughout this period, the LX.lab Team will be available 10am-4pm every weekday to check your subject and offer assistance with other learning tools.

When: 17 February – 3 April 2020, 10am – 4pm (Monday – Friday)
Where: LX.lab (CB06.04.020)

Who is Canvas Lab for?

Anyone that needs help using learning technologies! While we do have a focus on those who are new to or transitioning into Canvas, we are also here to help academics who are using UTSOnline and other online learning tools.

So, Canvas Lab is not only for Canvas users?

That’s correct! Canvas Lab will assist you with a range of UTS supported learning tools and technologies. We can help you with:

  • Canvas
  • UTSOnline (Blackboard)
  • Zoom
  • REVIEW
  • Turnitin
  • SPARKplus
  • Kaltura
  • accessibility checks
  • subject design

We are anticipating that there will be high demand throughout our Canvas Lab support period, so make sure to get in early and book your time slot via Service Connect.
