The LX.lab is conducting a survey to find out more about the experiences of teaching staff on casual contracts, and how they engage in learning and teaching at UTS. We would like to hear from all UTS casual teaching staff, whether you’ve just started or have been teaching for a long time, and are particularly interested in hearing from teaching staff on casual contracts. This short survey allows an opportunity for casual teaching staff to provide direct feedback on their experiences at UTS.
About the survey
This information is being collected, anonymously, by the LX.lab, as part of a project team investigating current support for teaching staff on casual contracts. This project focuses on building support for our casual teaching staff at a time of significant challenge and change, which will in turn contribute to improving the quality of the student experience at UTS. Our project aims to review and improve digital resources, onboarding processes and the professional learning opportunities available for casual staff.
The survey will close at 5pm on Thursday 30 September.
Have your say: fill out the survey here.
This survey will take about 10 minutes to complete. The questions are focused on the onboarding experience for casual teaching staff, accessing support for teaching, professional development opportunities and communication with your faculty. The results of the survey will be used to inform how we can better support teaching staff on casual contracts in their learning and teaching.
If you have any questions about the survey, please contact LX Design Manager Anna Stack. We are grateful to all participants for their time.
