Save the date: 29 November
The highly anticipated 2024 UTS Learning and Teaching Forum is on Friday 29 November. We invite you to join us on the UTS campus for a day of insightful presentations and rich discussions about learning and teaching at UTS.
A key focus of last year’s forum was Generative AI impact on students and the future of assessment. These topics will continue this year alongside other emerging challenges at another on-campus event where we can share our ideas and celebrate our successes. Our keynote speaker is Professor Margaret Bearman, from the Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE), Deakin University. The forum will close with the announcement of the Vice-Chancellor’s Learning and Teaching Awards winners – get your award submission in by 14 October.
Present your practice: submissions due by 30 October
We are now welcoming contributions from the UTS learning and teaching community to present during the concurrent presentation streams. Submissions that address up to 2 of the following aspects are encouraged:
- Assessment and feedback, including course level approaches
- Teaching in the context of GenAI
- Innovations in technology-enhanced learning and teaching
- Collaborative approaches to course and subject design
- Enhancing equity, accessibility and inclusion
- Directions for work-integrated learning
Our submission form will guide you in creating your submission. The aim is to focus on the challenge, your practice ‘in action’, outcomes, and what you learned/have implemented or changed in your practice.
- Deadline for submissions: Wednesday 30 October.
- Notification of successful submissions announced by: Friday 8 November.
