Use Announcements to communicate subject information to students – you can remind students of upcoming subject work, share useful resources or celebrate student success.
Manage Announcements
You can manage your announcements with the Announcements Index page.
The screenshot below shows both sections of the Announcements Index page. Global settings can be changed by using the section at the top of the page (marked with a 1). Individual announcements are shown below this section (marked with a 2).
- Navigate the Announcements Index Page
- Add an announcement in a Canvas course
- Delay an announcement until a specific date in a Canvas course
- Edit an announcement in a Canvas course
- Attach a file to an announcement in a Canvas course
- Delete an announcement in a Canvas course
- Disallow announcement replies in a Canvas course
