Portfolium will be undergoing changes in 2022, which will provide a different student learning experience in 2023. We will update this resource as these changes are implemented at UTS.
You can continue to plan for portfolio-based learning for your subject. If you are considering using Portfolium in Spring 2022, please consult with the LX.lab via https://lxlabservices.uts.edu.au
Set or update your Portfolium privacy settings to manage who can view your profile and projects.
Manage the privacy level of your profile
You can change the privacy level your profile settings with a few simple check boxes.
The privacy level for your profile currently includes two options:
- ‘Only allow people I’m connected with to view my profile’: Only people you have fully connected with will be able to view your profile. If this option is not selected, all Portfolium users can view your profile.
- ‘Prevent employers from contacting me and finding my profile’: Employers will not be able to find your profile or contact you. If this option is not selected, employers can view your profile and contact you about potential job opportunities. Note that employers are currently are not part of the Australian Portfolium network.
Your Portfolium profile and projects are independent from each other. For example, you can have a private profile, but public projects – and vice versa.
Manage the privacy level of your projects
There are 4 privacy level settings for projects:
- Public – your project is visible to anyone on or off Portfolium.
- Portfolium members – your project is visible to anyone on Portfolium
- Connections – your project is visible to only those you are connected to, on Portfolium.
- Private – your project is only visible to you, unless you share a ‘public share’ link (only those who have this link would be able to view your project).
