  • UTS

From 14-18 August, UTS will be celebrating difference in all its forms with Diversity Week 2017. There’s a fantastic program of events, with something for everyone.

Fight back against racism, stereotypes and ethnocentrism at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Workshop, head to the keynote talk Racism Stops at UTS, or learn about Trans misogyny and Trans identity through a feminist lens at a lunch time talk. Gain a better understanding of accessibility at a special Techo Tuesday session on captions, and head over to the UTS Gallery for an audio description tour and curator talk. You’ll hear from representatives of all areas of UTS, from women in STEMM to the UTS Food Society, to our most talented slam poets.

This is only a small selection of what’s on offer, so head over to the UTS: Equity & Diversity page to find out how you can get involved in this year’s Diversity Week.
