In collaboration with the faculties of Science and FEIT, IML will be running a series of online sessions to showcase examples and share ideas for teaching labs, pracs, and studios remotely.
Who should attend?
All teaching staff are welcome to attend.
In this session:
Our speakers will present about their own teaching experience in designing and running laboratory sessions that establish an authentic learning experience and help students to engage in remote learning. We will open the second half of the session for Q&A so all participants will have the chance to ask the speakers and organisers questions related to running online labs.
We will hear from:
Lecturer at the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Faculty of Science
Presenting on ‘Online labs: Lessons learnt in science and use of the smart phones for data collection in remote practicals’
Senior Lecturer at the School of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology
Presenting on ‘T&L technical subjects remotely’
