The LX.lab is introducing video training workshops! In these sessions, we’re providing you with an opportunity to attend a face-to-face session with a member of our LX.lab Media Team to get advice and support with your video production project.

Not only that, once a week from 12 October – 13 November, we’ll be running a workshop focusing on a particular video production topic (e.g. chunking video, trimming and editing). This structured workshop will be available for you to attend online or face-to-face.

What do you need to bring to video training?

  • An existing project you’re are working on (not required). If you want to discuss a potential video project, or are just keen to learn about video production, come and join us!
  • External hard drive to save your project files and video files (not required, but strongly recommended)
  • Headphones

We will provide Apple computers and software. If you have your own laptop and software, feel free to bring it along!

Weekly Focus: Video Editing

This week, our focus is on video editing! We’ll explore simple editing techniques that can be used to enhance your pre-recorded videos.
