10:00 am - 11:30 am - Zoom – further details provided upon registration
Do you have a learning and teaching project you need to evaluate to assess outcomes and impact? Would you like to develop and explore your evaluation framework and plan with colleagues?
If so we invite you to join our evaluation learning community which aims to collectively build our capability for evaluating and assessing the impact of learning and teaching related projects. We’ll do this via regular sessions which draw together expertise in evaluation at UTS and provide the opportunity for you to examine your current or future projects using a process of collegial inquiry with an action focus.
At the first session we will:
- Discuss the purpose/approach of the community
- Explore some principles around evaluation (with George Argyrous, Research and Evaluation Manager at the UTS Institute for Public Policy and Governance (IPPG)),
- Showcase an innovative evaluation framework – the Social Impact framework by Mitra Gusheh from the Centre for Social Justice & Inclusion team
- Use the LX Transformation project as a case study of a current project
- Provide the space to discuss your own project with your colleagues
Bring along a current or future project from your area to work on in the session.
