Who should attend this session?

All teaching and professional staff are welcome to attend this session.

What will you learn?

In Canvas, the content of your subject is organised via Modules and Pages.

Use Modules to organise your subject by topics, themes, weeks, or milestone.  Organising your subject with Modules provides your student with a linear flow of what you expect your students to do in your subject.

You can create content for your subject with Pages.  You can include text and rich media like video and audio in a Page.  You can also include links to files, websites, webpages, other Canvas pages, and to Discussions, Quizzes or Assignments you have created in your subject site.

In this 1.5 hour session, you will learn how to:

  • create and manage modules and pages in Canvas
  • create engaging and accessible pages, using the Rich Content Editor
