Come along and hear from panellists who have managed to rapidly reinvent oral formative and summative assessments and learning activities for the online environment. In this webinar, Jenna Price (FASS) will describe a recent experience with remote group work presentations and  Chris Jacobs (Health) will be sharing how she runs an authentic oral assessment task and an online counselling simulation experience.

Panellists

Jenna Price is a journalist and senior lecturer in Journalism at UTS.

Chris Jacobs is a senior lecturer in Genetic Counselling at UTS. Chris is a registered genetic counsellor and an award winning researcher in the area of cancer genetics and genetic counselling. 

Facilitators

Dimity Wehr is a senior HEA fellow and curriculum developer in the IML. She has been engaged with the LX transformation project and as a part of the Learning and Teaching Team is helping to design and develop materials for the remote learning environment. 

Leslie McInnes is a senior educational designer in IML with an ongoing involvement in the implementation of online and blended learning strategies. She also has a particular interest in ePortfolios and their role in providing authentic assessment opportunities.
