Who should attend this session?

Subject coordinators preparing their subject and looking for a structured way to plan for their teaching in Canvas  for online or blended modes.  You should have some knowledge of Canvas. Professional staff are welcome to attend.

What will you learn?

Your subject site in Canvas is a great place to provide information about your subject and communicate the administrative requirements of your subject.  However, there is so much more you can do with your subject site to support and enhance your students’ experience of your subject, using asynchronous and synchronous learning.

In this session, you will:

  • Explore what makes a subject site effective
  • Examine ways of applying a selection of design frameworks for your subject in Canvas to enhance the student experience.

As there will be collaborative activities in this session, please log onto this session on your computer (a mobile device is not recommended).
