There seems to be no end of research metrics and measurements: ERA, EIA, citation counts, ranked journal lists, ever newer global rankings, and ever more sophisticated modelling of research performance.
- How do we understand what these measurements and metrics are doing?
- Are they changing the way we do research, and indeed, what we research?
- And what role does quantity play in how we understand research quality?
These questions and more will be discussed and debated by a panel of UTS research leaders.
