Intermediate. Prior knowledge Canvas is required and knowledge of how to manipulate spreadsheets (csv file) is desirable.

What will you learn?
You can create student groups in Canvas to facilitate collaborative learning. Once groups have been created in Canvas, students get access to online group spaces on your Canvas Course site to collaborate on group tasks and assignments. You can also assign groups to discussions and assignments.
In this 1 hour session, you will learn how to:
- set up and manage student groups in Canvas.
- communicate with student groups.
- create and assign group activities (for example, a discussion, an assignment).
