Are you looking for new ways to collaborate? Perhaps you are a person who loves brainstorming, drawing mind maps or learning visually? If any of these apply to you, then you should consider using Microsoft Whiteboard.

In this Tooltime session we will be running through the basics of how you can use Microsoft Whiteboard for your collaborative activities. Whether you are an academic or professional staff member, MS Whiteboard is the ideal tool if you want to:

  • Facilitate collaborative brainstorming activities
  • Annotate documents
  • Draw, scribble and visualise your ideas

This session will be running in a hybrid format. Come on down to the LX.lab for an interactive session or join remotely via Zoom.

What is Tooltime?

Tooltime is a series of short informal showcases, where staff from all areas are given the opportunity to share a gadget, tool, app, workflow or technique. The technologies showcased can range from anything that could engage learners, streamline teaching or are simply time savers. Sessions do not have to formally address teaching and learning concepts in-depth, but rather recognise the technology’s potential capabilities in this area. Each session in the series will run for 30 minutes and are intended for either academic or professional staff.

The Tooltime hosts make no claims on the utility of tools and do not necessarily provide support for the gadgets, widgets or workflows presented.
