Open Educational Resources are now 25 years old but remain a misunderstood concept for many educators. Based around the five permissions of:

  1. Retain
  2. Reuse
  3. Revise
  4. Remix
  5. Redistribute

It creates a model for free access to learning material for every environment. And it’s a fair bet your students are using at least one of them regularly.

In this session, we’ll discuss how to find OERs, what to know about creating your own, and look at the open licensing that makes them possible.
