Facilitated by Weisi Chan.

Do you want to automate your research data analysis (data manipulation, processing and visualisation)? Are you having a difficult time selecting which programming language is best for you? This session starts with a comparison of programming languages (Python, R, MATLAB, Julia) that are most popular within the research community, followed by a hands-on Jupyter notebook session to run some Python code so you can walk away with a feeling of what a programming language can do for your research.

Any researcher who wants to learn how to code in order to process their data more efficiently, and/or achieve better reproducibility for analyses is encouraged to attend.

Bookings required.
