Presented by James Walsh

A great idea isn’t just words on a page.

Learn how to pitch your research to an interdisciplinary audience in order to give your grant proposal the greatest chance of success.

You’ll discover new skills, techniques and what to avoid as the interdisciplinary panel hears pitches from a UTS academic and provides constructive feedback.

The session will be kicked off with a 10 minute grant pitch delivered by Prof Bronwyn Helmsley (Head of Discipline (Speech Pathology), Graduate School of Health, UTS).

A panel of distinguished guests will be asked to evaluate the pitch and discuss this with Prof Helmsley.

The session will be interactive with audience being asked to score the pitch (using Mentimeter).

There will be time at the end of the session for Q&A with Prof Helmsley.

All academics are encouraged to attend.

Bookings required.
