Who should attend this workshop?
This workshop is open to UTS teaching staff on casual contracts who are teaching in Spring 2022.
As there is a cap, please register your interest for this workshop by 12pm, Friday, 19 August.
What will you learn?
Debunk the feedback sandwich. Thinking about feedback as learning, we explore how the way we give feedback can support students’ sense of belonging, as well as their understanding of how to improve.
In this interactive workshop, you will:
- Learn about different models of feedback beyond the feedback sandwich
- Understand the protocol of warm, wise personalised feedback
- Develop feedback that works with diverse student cohorts

Casual academic program
This workshop is open to UTS teaching staff on casual contracts who are teaching in Spring 2022. You are invited to participate in up to TWO of these online professional development workshops and be paid for your time*.
Please note that there are caps on some workshops.
*Paid places are at the Other Academic Activity non-PhD rate of $50.46ph. This is a professional learning opportunity, not a teaching activity.
Please note: Staff who are in full-time or fractional academic employment at UTS in addition to their casual academic contract are not eligible for payment.
