Presented by Jo McKenzie and Melinda Lewis (Education Portfolio).
Would you like to apply for a UTS Vice-Chancellor’s learning and teaching award or citation?
Are you ready for promotion and wondering how to build your case for teaching and learning?
Whether you’re planning to apply for learning and teaching awards or promotion or are just keen to develop your academic profile, it’s important to tell your story and evidence your case for teaching and learning.
In this Zoom session:
- We’ll discuss what makes a convincing case for learning and teaching, including making use of diverse forms of evidence to show the impact of your teaching on your students’ learning and experiences
- We’ll share advice and examples from national citations and awards
- You’ll have opportunities to share your ideas and experiences on making a case for teaching and ask your questions
Before you come to the session, please consider the evidence you have to support your case for teaching and bring your ideas and questions. If you plan to apply for a UTS Vice-Chancellor’s Learning and Teaching award or citation this year, please review the guidelines. There is also a Canvas site with relevant resources and example citation applications. If you don’t have access, please contact Jo McKenzie using your UTS email address.
This will be an interactive session on Zoom. Please test your video and audio settings prior to joining.
