To access your Mentimeter account under the UTS license, you will always need to long in with SSO (Single Sign-On).
You can log in via SSO automatically by heading to mentimeter.uts.edu.au then using your UTS credentials and following the Okta prompts.
Otherwise, you can follow this manual process:
- Go to the Mentimeter homepage
- Click on the ‘Log in’ button in the upper right corner of the homepage
- At the bottom of the login page, click on ‘Log in with SSO’
- Enter ‘uts’ as company name and click on ‘Log in’
- Follow the login steps of Okta
If you are logging in for the first time, you will receive a confirmation email from Mentimeter to ‘confirm SSO for your Mentimeter account’ – click on ‘confirm SSO login here’ to finalise your transition to the UTS license.
It can take between a few minutes up to a couple of hours to receive the confirmation email from Mentimeter. Check your spam folder in case it’s been directed there.
Once you have set up your account through UTS SSO, you will continue to use this process in the future. If you try to log in through the Mentimeter interface, it will remind you that your account is connected to SSO and prompt you to use this process.
