If you don’t have a Mentimeter account or don’t want to convert your existing personal account to the UTS license, you can set up a new account.
Go via SSO
When creating a new account, log in through mentimeter.uts.edu.au as this will direct you to the SSO login page that will automatically create your account.
To set up a new account:
- Go to mentimeter.uts.edu.au
- Log in via SSO using your UTS credentials and follow the Okta prompts
- Check your email for an email from Mentimeter to ‘Confirm SSO for your Mentimeter account’ – click on ‘confirm SSO login here’ to finalise your account creation. You now have a UTS enterprise account for Mentimeter!
It can take between a few minutes up to a couple of hours to receive the confirmation email from Mentimeter. Check your spam folder in case it’s been directed there.
Once you have set up your account through UTS SSO, you will continue to log in using SSO. You will stay logged in on your browser until you log out.
If you accidentally try to log in with a UTS email through mentimeter.com, don’t worry, a pop-up will prompt you to join the UTS license and initiate the SSO process. If required, enter ‘uts’ as organisation name to join the UTS license.
