Whilst some disciplines are easily linked to sustainability topics, others may take a little more thought. This resource suggests ways to connect students to the multidisciplinary nature of sustainability themes, including connections to employability skills and ‘green jobs’.
You do not need in-depth knowledge to address this content with your students. It is designed to prompt all participants (teachers and students) to collaboratively shape their understanding of the topic. Approach this with a beginner’s mindset rather than an expert’s to create an engaging and supportive learning space.

Invite students to watch this trailer about planetary boundaries. While watching, ask them to think about ways that their discipline/ future industry might contribute to a more sustainable future.
