This page shows you how to embed your media from Kaltura into a pre-existing canvas page. These instructions assume you have media already uploaded to Kaltura, although they also provide an option to upload and use media ‘on the fly.’
Go to the Canvas Page where you’d like to embed your media and select ‘Edit’ to access the Rich Content Editor. Select Tools from the toolbar above the text entry box, then Apps. Select Embed Kaltura Media. If you don’t see Embed Kaltura Media, select View All, then select Embed Kaltura Media.
Next you’ll be asked to choose the video you want to embed and click on the ‘Select’ button. If you have a range of videos, you need to select the button that correlates next to the video you actually want to embed.
You should now be able to see your video in the page editor and you can move the video around or place text either above or below the video.
Use your directional arrow keys on your keyboard to move the cursor around the embedded video in the text editor.
