In some cases, you may need to post the same message across multiple Teams or channels within one Team. This resource shows you how to post a single message that appears simultaneously in all of the Teams or channels you need to post in, with a simple step-by-step process.
You can use the first dropdown to select whether you would like the post to exist as a new conversation or an ‘Announcement’ with set formatting and a selectable background colour/image.
The second dropdown allows you to limit who can reply – either leaving it open for anyone or closing it off to just yourself and moderators.
The third dropdown allows you to post in multiple channels (and across different Teams). By selecting ‘Select channels’ you can use the check box menu that appears to indicate the various channels across the different teams that you would like your announcement sent out to. This way you could select the ‘General’ channel for each of your tutor run Teams to have the message posted to all of them simultaneously.
Keep in mind that you will need to be a member of a Team to be able to select it as a place to post, so make sure the owners of any Teams that you need to reach out to have added you.
