As the nature of work continues to change, how will we help our students and our staff to adapt and thrive in the new workplace? Growth mindset, perseverance, grit. A growth mindset is the belief that intelligence and ability are not fixed, that failure is an opportunity to learn, and that success is the result of hard work, not natural talent.

In this session, UTS Librarians will show you how to use growth mindset techniques to build digital capabilities in teaching and training. This class will equip you to: introduce the growth mindset and then run an engaging activity combining craft, circuitry and basic coding where participants will create an interactive artwork that produces sound effects using a Makey Makey. You will leave this session able to run a similar activity in your own class or team.

This is an interactive session. Please bring a laptop with a USB port. A tablet device will not work.
