Who should attend this workshop?

This workshop is open to UTS teaching staff on casual contracts who are teaching in Spring 2022. 

As there is a cap, please register your interest for this workshop by 12pm, Friday, 5 August.   

What will you learn?

Mentimeter is UTS’s official polling toll. Why not incorporate this tool to enhance your teaching activities.  It can be used for both synchronous and asynchronous activities.     

In this session, you will learn how to:  

  • activate and access your UTS Mentimeter account.  
  • create a Mentimeter presentation with the relevant settings.  
  • use Mentimeter asynchronously (Canvas), synchronously (Teams and Zoom).   
  • access and download poll results.
     

To make the most of this workshop please ensure you have activated your UTS Mentimeter account.

Casual academic program

This workshop is open to UTS teaching staff on casual contracts who are teaching in Spring 2022.  You are invited to participate in up to TWO of these online professional development workshops and be paid for your time*.

Please note that there are caps on some workshops. 

 *Paid places are at the Other Academic Activity non-PhD rate of $50.46ph. This is a professional learning opportunity, not a teaching activity.

Please note: Staff who are in full-time or fractional academic employment at UTS in addition to their casual academic contract are not eligible for payment.
