Dr Evana Wright is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law University of Technology Sydney researching the fields of intellectual property, the protection of Indigenous traditional knowledge, as well as the regulation of technologies such as IoT devices and databases.

Dr Michael Rennie
Dr Michael Rennie is a lecturer at the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation. Michael graduated from UTS in 2011 and completed doctoral studies in team sports analysis while working with the Sydney Swans Football Club.

Dr Anna Lidfors Lindqvist is a Lecturer at the School of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering and has played a key role in curriculum redesign using a whole-of-program approach. As the subject coordinator for Mechanical Design Fundamentals 1, she actively promotes the integration of ChatGPT in student projects, fostering critical reflection on its output.

Generative AI (GAI) has recently become more widely available and is impacting higher education, raising questions about the future of learning. Within UTS, conversations about GAI cover assessment, integrity, its role as a learning tool or administrative aid, and how humans’ roles will change in the workplace. To address these discussions and provide support, AI x L&T aims to create a visible forum for connecting individuals with similar ideas and challenges, reducing anxiety and facilitating informed action.
