This year, the R U OK? campaign is themed “There’s more to say after R U OK?”. It is focused on promoting peer to peer support and having regular meaningful conversations amongst our colleagues in the workplace. For conversations to be meaningful, it needs to be authentic and involve a level of trust between people. Building a culture of care and compassion can help establish the trust and build a sense of belonging and connection.

In this session learn:
  • The importance of staying connected in challenging times
  • How to shift ‘R U OK?’ from a greeting to a genuine question
  • How to have an authentic R U OK? conversation
  • How to feel more confident in linking someone you are concerned about, in with support
  • How to break down the barriers someone may feel to saying ‘No actually, I’m not okay’
