If you are interested in innovative responses to COVID-19 and more specifically in project work and makerspace ideas then this webinar is for you. Learn from two colleagues – Jon O’Neil from FEIT ProtoSpace and Sebastian Behrens from Shopfront – about their experiences and struggles with student-led projects and community-based projects respectively in COVID-19 times.
Sebastian Behrens, the community engagement coordinator at Shopfront, will share the challenges he has faced moving coursework projects online and some opportunities he came across through requests for support from community organisations.
Jon O’Neil, the manager of UTS ProtoSpace, will talk about his initiative setting up a student-academic shared MS TEAMS space to generate project ideas to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
The purpose of this dialogical webinar is to share ideas and responses to COVID-19 through practical project work and grow your peer network.
