What will you learn? 

Teamwork is an endlessly fascinating and challenging teaching strategy because so much of it is a shared responsibility between teacher and teams and within teams. In this workshop we will talk about:  

  • The purpose of teamwork 
  • What is to be learnt and assessed 
  • Preparation for teamwork using trigger films as a tool for team building 
  • Strategy to stimulate self-reflection, learning to listen, empathy and team agency 
  • Pre-teamwork assessment task.

Casual academic program

The program is open to UTS casual academics who are teaching in Spring session 2021. You are invited to participate in up to TWO of these online professional development workshops and be paid for your time*. Please note that there are caps on some workshops. 

 *Paid places are at the Other Academic Activity non-PhD rate of $49.47. This is a professional learning opportunity, not a teaching activity.

Please note: Staff who are in full-time or fractional academic employment at UTS in addition to their casual academic contract are not eligible for payment.
