The most compatible browsers to use with Access are Google Chrome and Firefox.
Accessibility Consultants submit reasonable adjustment requests to Subject Coordinators on behalf of students through Access. This will trigger an email notification to let the Subject Coordinator know about the new request to review.
To review and approve a request:
If the request is not approved, please provide detailed feedback or alternatives in the comments section so that the Accessibility Consultant can provide additional information and options to the student.
As a Subject Coordinator, in Access you can view students with reasonable adjustments in your subject when you need to approve/acknowledge the request.
There might be some students in your subject that are registered with Accessibility Services and/or have approved adjustments that you do not have access to. Student information is only ever disclosed on a need-to-know basis.
Extension requests are not available in Access as they are requested as the need arises. Extension requests can come from Access or directly from the student depending on what the student feels comfortable with.
