It’s important to make sure that both staff and students in Canvas are granted the correct level of access. This resource covers UTS policy on Canvas roles for all users.
Staff should not be granted an application role which gives them more access than necessary for their UTS staff role.
Students should not be given elevated access which may give them or their cohort advantage over other students by allowing access to assessments, grades, hidden content.
There are three particular policy sections that address this area:
