Data on student achievement of UTS CILOs or PLOs can be exported at Faculty sub-account level. This data included in the resulting csv file will show the learning outcome results for all students enrolled in subjects using Canvas Outcomes.
Only staff with the appropriate level of access will be able to export Outcomes data from a Faculty sub-account. Faculty administrators and learning and teaching team members who need access to Outcomes at sub-account level should submit an IT Service Request via ServiceConnect.
- Click on ‘Admin’ in the Canvas global navigation menu. Then, select the Faculty sub-account that you have administrative access to.
- Click on ‘Settings’ [1] in the account menu and then select the ‘Reports’ tab [2]. Locate ‘Outcome Results’ [3]. Click on the corresponding ‘Configure…’ button [4] to configure the Outcomes report.
- In the pop-up window that appears, you can export Outcomes data for a specific session. Click the ‘Run Report’ button.
- If you have left Canvas email notifications enabled, you will receive an email alert informing you when the report is ready.
You can also refresh the page to see if the report has finished processing. - Once the report has been generated, you will see the date and time of the report listed. Click the ‘Download Report’ icon (the downwards facing arrow) to download the csv file of the report.
