Complete your Assessment Task setup by adding:
- One or more Criteria, then
- Adding a Rubric to the Criteria (Optional)
Add Criteria
To add a Criterion to a Task:
- Go to the Tasks Tab, then click on the button in the Criteria column for the Task you wish to add a criteria to
- Click ‘+Create New Task Criterion’. The ‘Create New Task Criteria’ screen will be displayed
- Choose a CILO from the Course Intended Learning Outcome drop down menu
- Choose ‘No Subject Learning Objective’ from the Subject Learning Objective drop down menu
- Enter a brief title for the Criteria in the Name field
- (Optional) Enter the weight given to the Criteria as a percentage
- Click ‘Save’ to finish creating the Assessment Criteria, then add a Rubric if required
Add Rubrics
You can create a Rubric in REVIEW by adding Mark Descriptors to each level of achievement to a Criteria.
To add a Rubric to a Criteria:
- Create and Save a Criteria, then navigate to the Rubric Definition section of the page
- Add a text description to each Mark Descriptor field (e.g. F, P, C, D, HD)
- Click Save to finish adding the Rubric
Avoid using the Criteria Comment Library as additional comments cannot be added to the library once marking has commenced.
