Learn how to manually create, update and delete Classes via the Classes tab.
Classes are used to filter by class group when marking, publishing results and generating reports. Classes must be added to REVIEW by the Subject Coordinator.
Create a Class
To manually create a Class:
- Open the Classes tab, then Create New Class
- Enter the Class name
- Click Create
Assign a Teacher to a Class
To assign a Teacher to a Class:
- Open the Classes tab, then click Current Classes
- Choose the Class from the Select Class menu
- Choose the relevant teacher from the Select Class Teacher menu
- Click Save Class Changes
Add students to Classes when the window to change classes has closed.
Add students to a Class
To manually add students to a Class:
- Open the Classes tab, then click Current Classes
- Choose the Class from the Select Class menu
- Select one or more students from the Unallocated Students column
- Click Add, then Save Class Changes
Don’t forget to click Save after adding or removing students from a Class.
Remove students from a Class
To manually remove students from a Class:
- Open the Classes tab, then click Current Classes
- Choose the Class from the Select Class menu
- Select one or more students from the Class Allocated Students column
- Click Remove, then Save Class Changes
Rename a Class
To rename a Class:
- Open the Classes tab, then click Current Classes
- Choose the Class from the Select Class menu
- Enter the correct name of the class in the Rename field, then Save Class Changes
Delete a Class
To delete a Class:
- Open the Classes tab, then click Current Classes
- Choose the Class from the Select Class menu
- Click Delete Class, then click OK to confirm
You can only delete one class at a time.
