- Friday, 2 December 2022
9:15 am - 4:30 pm - Hybrid format (further details provided upon registration)
While UTS is a campus-based university, the impact of the global pandemic has heightened the demand for flexibility and expanded opportunities for us to innovate using different modes and technologies – whether for a single class, across a semester, or over a course. At the same time, it has brought challenges for students – particularly related to access, inclusion, well-being, belonging, and engagement; and for staff – in adjusting to different modes of teaching and supporting students whilst balancing the many demands in the post-pandemic world.
The theme of the 2022 forum, ‘Putting the human at the heart of our blended future’, locates students, staff, and their experiences at the centre as we explore, showcase and experiment with ways to teach and innovate using different modes. These modes form a continuum ranging from in-person through to fully online with blended and hybrid variations in between.
