You are warmly invited to the next first year experience forum on Friday 13th April 2018

 Topic: Academic Integrity

It’s a hot topic in higher education and a priority for UTS.

  • How can we support students (and staff) to understand academic integrity and demonstrate it in their practice?
  • How do we make them aware of what can happen if they don’t?

At this forum, we have a range of presentations and activities on academic practices (embedded approach in Science) that significantly reduce inadvertent plagiarism, to giving students an understanding of what academic misconduct means using a board game (Business case study). Student support staff from HELPs and the Library will demonstrate resources that can be used in class practice when enhanced with scaffolded activities.

Plus we have lots of opportunities to network and share your own practice.

Date: 13th April (Friday)
