Good WIL practices, shared practices and critical dialogues will continue in the Professional Education and Practice Network (PEPN) in 2023. PEPN is a merger of Careers and WIL networks and was established at the inaugural UTS Work Integrated Learning Symposium in September 2021. The symposium identified the importance of collaboration across faculties, units and centres as fundamental to robust WIL processes. In the 2023 symposium, we will highlight case studies of good WIL wins across faculties using this platform to network and share stories.

PEPN meetings are held 2-3 times yearly and focus on current conversations about professional practice pedagogies and collaborative education. Our first PEPN meetup online on April 4th, 1.30-3.00 pm will be a discussion around AI tools in the WIL space and the ramifications for students and teachers. How can we work with AI technologies wisely and give students the responsibility to engage with them authentically and with integrity and acknowledgement?

Come along and contribute to the conversation.

Meanwhile, you can access a host of materials on the WIL Hub that you can access with your UTS log-in credentials.

If you wish to join the PEP Network and access the materials and/or connect with the group, or receive an invite to our meetups please reach out to the Operations Team in IML.
