Who should attend this session?
Teaching staff wanting to learn basic video editing skills and/or use the LX.lab Editing suite.
Professional staff are welcome to attend.
What will you learn?
Adobe Premiere Pro is a video editing software used to edit famous Hollywood movies like Deadpool (2016), Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) and … many educational videos at UTS.
In this 1 hour session, we’ll cover a range of fundamental editing skills that can be transferred to most video editing software, including:
- Importing footage
- Cutting footage
- Trimming footage
- Adding UTS branding to a video
- Adding titles to a video
- Exporting a video file
Note: Adobe Premiere Pro is a great video editing software, but it does have a steep learning curve. If you are a Mac user, we recommend using iMovie (available only on Macs) as it’s easier to use. Be sure to check out our iMovie workshop.
