By helping students recognise their choices about how they collaborate in groups, SPARKplus can be very effective in promoting more equal (fair) and thoughtful participation. In terms of self and peer assessment, students make judgments, reflect and understand effective teamwork and feedback (with appropriate scaffolding ). The collaborative process can be monitored and moderated by the teacher. Insights into group work dynamics can help the teacher deal with collaborative dysfunction early.
