Learn how to access and use Mentimote to present and control Mentimeter presentations.

As part of the Mentimeter application, Mentimote gives you the freedom to leave the lectern and walk around the room. Providing access to essential presentation functions in one place, Mentimote includes presenter notes, slide previews, comment moderation, voting controls, timers and more. Like Mentimeter, Mentimote conveniently runs in a web browser.

Bring both your laptop and a smart device to make the most of this hands-on session. Please ensure you already have an active UTS Mentimeter account. Some experience using Mentimeter is an advantage.

In-person session

This session will be held in the LX.lab – CB06.04.020. It will not be streamed online.

What is Tooltime?

Tooltime is a series of short informal showcases, where staff from all areas can share a gadget, tool, app, workflow or technique. The technologies showcased can range from anything that could engage learners, streamline teaching or be time savers. Sessions do not necessarily address teaching and learning concepts in-depth, but rather recognise the technology’s potential capabilities in this area. Each session in the series will run for 30 minutes and is intended for either academic or professional staff.

Disclaimer

The Tooltime hosts make no claims on the utility of tools and do not necessarily provide support for the gadgets, widgets or workflows presented.
