The Vice-Chancellor’s CAP (Career and Professional Development) awards recognise the contributions of UTS professional staff members from all areas of the university. On Thursday, the LX.lab team were awarded alongside many other committed and high performing members of the UTS community. We were thrilled to be included with this group and hear about the ways in which all the award winners, highly commended staff and nominees have made important contributions to their teams and to the wider community, and would like to congratulate all who were recognised in this year’s awards.
It’s certainly been a big year for the LX.lab. Since launching in October 2016, we have provided services for over 1000 members of staff, and held new events every week in our new space in Building 6. This month, we’ve also launched an exciting partnership with the UTS Research community with RES Hub, which draws on the learning and teaching activities of the LX.lab over the past year to provide a similar experience for researchers. But we couldn’t have come this far without the many academic and professional staff who have accessed our services, come to our events, and read or even written posts for Futures. Thank you to everyone who has engaged with us so far, we look forward to making our services even bigger and better for you over the next year.
Congratulations LX.Lab team – well deserved!
Thank you Elaine!
