Hatchery Ideate is a program for UTS students and staff who are passionate about learning the foundational skills for entrepreneurship. It’s an interactive and experimental space where participants are exposed to design thinking and lean startup methods, while also being supported to develop and test purposeful business ideas.
The program includes:
- An intensive bootcamp focused on learning the Hatchery methodologies
- Exercises to establish cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Regular sessions with industry and alumni coaches to help students further their ideas
- An industry showcase, events and networking opportunities
This year we were awarded the Best Learning Experience at the AFR Higher Education Awards and in 2018, we’re excited to relaunch with a new name, the option to participate in the program either face-to-face or online, and the inclusion of staff to equip even more of the UTS community with the mindset and skills necessary to create change within an organisation or start their own business.
