Thanks to a new enterprise license, UTS staff now have access to Miro Academy, an on-demand training platform for all Miro users. Miro Academy allows you to build your Miro skills and confidence through a range of engaging courses and videos. If you’re considering using Miro with your students, check out the options below to make sure you’re prepared and making the most of your online whiteboards.

On demand training

Why wait for a workshop when, in 5 minutes, you can learn how to set up and present a Miro board from your own desk? Here are some of the Miro Academy options we like best, especially if you’re teaching with Miro for the first time:

  • Meeting ready in 5 minutes (5 minutes)  – a very quick and practical intro to Miro if you haven’t used it before
  • Workshops in Miro (20 minutes) – jump into this course before you start using Miro in class; you’ll learn how to design a Miro board for a workshop, onboard students to Miro and facilitate a workshop using Miro
  • Participating in Miro (5 minutes) – share this with students before class to help orientate them to Miro

Not just for newbies

Even if you’ve been using Miro for a while, there are training options to extend your expertise. In addition to on demand training, Miro Academy provides frequent live webinars with Miro staff. You can also earn verified badges to show off your Miro skills.
