Over the past month, a series of online workshops have been offered to casual academic staff teaching in the Spring session at UTS. These workshops covered a range of themes including technologies like Canvas, Zoom and Mentimeter, and other sessions explored ways to build belonging and engage with linguistically diverse classes.
Access the Casual Academic Program recordings
If you were unable to register or attend these workshops, or if you did attend and would like to view a session again, there are recordings available that you can watch in your own time. These videos are recommended for any teaching staff and can be shared with your colleagues at UTS.
Recordings are available for the following sessions:
- Connecting with your students: building student belonging in your classrooms
- Facilitate small group learning in Zoom with breakout rooms
- Inclusive teaching for linguistically diverse classes
- Enhancing student engagement with Mentimeter
More recordings will become available as the series reaches its conclusion in early September. To watch the recordings, go to Microsoft Stream and view the Casual Academic Program SPR22 channel (UTS login required).
