The process for creating and enrolling UTSOnline sites has changed. A new site will now be created for each session, with students enrolled automatically.

UTSOnline sites for Autumn 2017 subjects were created yesterday, Wednesday, January 18, with information copied across from the previous session.

What’s different?

Subject sites for Autumn include the session and year in their ID and name, for example:

XXXXX-2017-AUTUMN-CITY: Subject Name Autumn 2017

On the My Subjects list, they will appear at the top under an Autumn 2017 heading, as:

Subject Name Autumn 2017

Please make sure you choose the correct version when you are updating your materials. You may also see the previous version of the subject further down the page.

Autumn students are automatically enrolled in the Autumn subject site. The site will be made available to them just prior to the orientation period.

Has my site been copied successfully?

If you are teaching an Autumn subject in UTSOnline, we request that you log in and check that your Autumn subject has copied successfully.

If you made any changes in your previous site on Wednesday January 18, this may have been after the copy process began. In that case you will need to update your Autumn subject site.

Otherwise, if you need to report an issue please do so via the ‘Request Help’ button in UTS Service Connect.

Further details on the new automated copy process, including how to make a site available, are on this Help page.
